Meet Our Superintendent
Jeff Dyer is a 1985 graduate of Iola High school. In 1989 he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA Degree in Business Administration. In 2003, he received his Master’s Degree from Prairie View A&M in Educational Administration and in 2009 he received his Superintendent Certification.
Jeff is a lifelong educator of more than 30 years. During those 30 years, he has served as a teacher, a coach, a high school principal, and a superintendent. For ten years he was a Special Education teacher serving as a content mastery, adaptive behavior, and resource teacher. He has coached football, basketball, softball, golf, track, and tennis.
In 2003, Jeff was named principal of Iola High school. It was a great honor to be the principal of the school in which he graduated from and where his parents were teachers and coaches. He left in 2012 to pursue the role of superintendent.
After retirement, he became the interim superintendent of Iola ISD and was named the superintendent on February 28, 2022. This is life come full circle.
He is married to Krista and they have one son, Zack. Krista is a sophomore counselor at Magnolia West high school and Zack attended TSTC in Waco and now works for Schlumberger.
