Nominations are now being accepted through March 10th!  You can use the Nomination form below or pick up one from the front office in Elementary and/or High School.  Please turn the completed forms into either campus office. Please click the links below.

Under TEC 29.121, a students is gifted and talented if they perform or show the potential to perform at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience and environment and who:

• exhibit high performance capability in an intellectual way
• possesses an unusual capacity for leadership
• excels in a specific academic field

Iola ISD recruits and identifies students for the GT program each Spring .  Students are served through a pull out program at the elementary school level and participate in advanced courses at the secondary level.
