  • The Parent Benefit

    All of your kids. All of their work. All in one place. Schoology offers communication options for parents and teachers. As a district-wide Learning Management System, parents are able to find everything they need within Schoology and there is no confusion on what "program" the teacher will or will not use for assignments.  Schoology has calendars that are build in to help track assignments that are upcoming or overdue.

     

    A Smooth Transition

    With the help of teachers and the use of Schoology in the physical classroom multiple times a week, parents and students will be well-prepared if the time comes for their child to become a remote learner.  Students and teachers will practice using the LMS and will incorporate the features that include parents. 

    Parent "Training"

    Iola ISD will post information regarding the access and features of Schoology. While this is a new system for our district, we are confident that it is the best. Again, TEA has named Schoology a high-end solution for learning management. We will make changes along the way to best suit our district, but starting the school year with this will ensure our students have the best opportunity to be academically successful in the upcoming school years.
