Howdy!
My name is Dianne Luna and I am the principal of Iola Elementary School. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Texas A&M University. Whoop! I have 23 years of experience in public education with certifications and experience teaching English, ESL, and Special Education. I have also served as an assistant principal and as a director of special education.
My husband and I have a blended family of 6 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family, camping, traveling, being outdoors, and reading.
Education is my passion and I believe students should become life-long learners! As Principal of Iola Elementary, it is my mission to ensure each student receives a quality education in a safe, welcoming, and happy learning environment that prepares him or her for a successful future! It truly takes a family to educate a child and we are a Bulldog family! Iola Elementary students, families, and community members are welcome and belong here at Iola Elementary School!
