Nominations are now being accepted through January 30th, 2025! You can use the Nomination form below or pick up one from the front office in Elementary and/or High School. We will also have them out at our Elementary Learning Night on January 13, 2025. Please turn the completed forms into either campus office. Please click the links below.
Under TEC 29.121, a students is gifted and talented if they perform or show the potential to perform at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience and environment and who:
- exhibit high performance capability in an intellectual way
- possesses an unusual capacity for leadership
- excels in a specific academic field
Iola ISD recruits and identifies students for the GT program each Spring. Students are served through a pull out program at the elementary school level and participate in advanced courses at the secondary level.
